Hello! I am the founder of Southern State K-9. I served in the Army for the 10 years in one of the world’s most prestigious Special Operations Force (SOF) units, the storied 75th Ranger Regiment. I recently moved into civilian life and have built this business to share my passion for dog training, K9 Education, and building positive owner/dog relationships. It is my goal to train as many people in the proper application of training, tools, and the “why” behind what we do with our dogs on a daily basis. In the last five years of my career, I trained, worked, and deployed alongside K-9’s tasked with some of the most perilous jobs on the battlefield. From my beginning with working K-9’s, I fell in love! The level at which we can communicate & work together made us both LEATHAL & EFFICIENT! Now, I use the skills I’ve learned to train family dogs to be obedient, high-functioning members of the family!
