Service Brewing is a veteran-owned craft brewery in Savannah, GA dedicated to creating innovative and high-quality craft beers for the curious and experienced consumer. By donating a portion of every draft beer we sell in our taproom to a veteran charity, we believe with the help of our community, and the shared love of craft beer, together we can support healing and health in the lives of those who protect our freedom.
Service Brewing was seeded by passion, literally: It all began on Valentine’s Day, when Kevin Ryan received homebrew supplies from his soon to be partner in life and business, Meredith Sutton. Meredith, an artist who imbues life with inspiration, asked Kevin one evening what interests he had outside of cycling, and finely-crafted beer topped the list. After an obsessive practice period, his tasty brews found their way into the glasses of friends and family.
Kevin, a West Point graduate and former Army commander had also been looking to take his career in a new direction, and in 2013 the couple launched Service Brewing with the help of two dozen investors–most of them Army, Navy and Marine Corps veterans. Kevin leads the company and is always researching the craft. Meredith a SCAD graduate, has creatively, built the brand to pay homage to our American military history and designed the tasting room based off of stories Kevin told her about his military experience.
